Sayre Potter is an associate lawyer at Pushor Mitchell LLP whose practice focuses on First Nations and Indigenous-related matters and family law. Born and raised in Penticton, he completed his legal studies at McGill University before returning to the Okanagan in 2022. Sayre is a proud member of the Métis Nation of British Columbia. He has been involved in several projects relating to advancing Indigenous rights, including working with the federal government on Métis self-government negotiations, serving as a research assistant at the Wahkohtowin Law and Governance Lodge at the University of Alberta, and serving as the president of the Indigenous Law Association/Association du droit autochtone at McGill University.

In his free time, Sayre enjoys skiing, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. He is also an avid traveller, having visited 18 different countries and having lived in France on two occasions.
